Raised in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Britni’s love for yoga began in college and has grown ever since. She began teaching yoga in 2003 and completed her 500-hour teacher training certification with Annie Carpenter in California. Graduating with a BA in Visual Arts, Britni is a very creative person, light-hearted and fun, and she likes her yoga that way too! She enjoys teaching a Vinyasa Flow style of yoga and creating challenging class sequences that coordinate movement and breath, with a focus on safe alignment. She also has a passion for Restorative Yoga and encourages taking time for yourself to rest, relax and be still. Britni believes in the power of a deeply transformative yoga practice and is inspired by taking lessons learned on the mat and applying them to everyday life.
In her spare time, Britni can be found with her husband and yogi, Scott, and their two adopted greyhounds, Bonnie and Clyde (who also regularly practice Downward Dog).
